About

Welcome to my homepage. I am Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance at Bournemouth University, having previously being Assistant Professor of Banking & Finance at the School of Business, Management, and Economics of the University of Sussex. Prior to that, I worked for more than four years as Lecturer and Post-doctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg. In the recent past, I have also held several visiting positions at Stern School of Business at New York University, the Department of Economics at University of Illinois, and the Department of Banking and Finance at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.

My research interests lie at the intersection of economics and finance. I have conducted many projects both individually and also in collaboration with UK and international scholars and has published my research in top-ranked academic journals. I have established a concrete portfolio of teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and have been awarded twice until today for my overall exceptional teaching performance. Alongside with my academic activity, I have worked for several years as a consultant, credit officer, and financial advisor in the financial services industry.
